Welcome to the New Students

A new session has started at ALI. To welcome all our new students, we had a welcome party at McLean's, a bar on Peel street. It started at 4:00 PM and ended quite late. The students played games (pool, baby foot, had drinks and got to learn more about other students' countries and culture.


새로운 수업세션이 시작되었습니다. ALI에 새로온 학생들을 위하여, Peel street에 있는 McLean's에서 환영파티를 가졌습니다. 학생들은 다 함께 다양한 게임(포켓, 테이블축구 등)도 하고 맥주도 마시면서 다양한 나라에서 온 학생들의 나라와 문화에 대해 배웠습니다. 오후 4시부터 시작하여 늦은 시간까지 계속 되었습니다.

Here is a peek at our Korean students teaching Latin American students about "sara itne" (you're alive?). According to one of the students, this expression was popularized thanks to the famous TV show, Muhan Dojeon and it has two meanings:
1) You look very good
2) You are very good at something.



한국 학생들이 남미 학생들에게 “살아있네~”를 가르쳐주는 모습입니다. 학생들의 말에 의하면, 한국의 유명한 프로그램 ‘무한도전’에서 유명해진 이 표현은 두 가지 의미가 있다고 합니다.
1) 잘 생겼네~
2) (특정 영역)을 잘하네~
